On a local basis our club has: • awarded scholarships to local high schools • purchased & installed schoolground equipment for handicapped children • worked at the recycle center two Saturdays a month for 15 years • helped with the Branson library book sale • held a Blues Festival for two years • helped build a habitat house • repaired the Boy Scout camp at Cow Creek • held annual chili cook-offs and silent auctions • served lunch for Table Rock Lake clean-up crew • worked the NAIA basketball tournament at College of the Ozarks • helped annually with Salvation Army bell ringing • cleaned up an adopted roadside • held Kid's Fishing Derby annually in October • sponsored families at Christmas On an international level we have: • provided shoes and books for children in central America • provided toothbrushes and fluoride swish kits for children in Nicaragua • provided dental care to the people of Nicaragua bi-annually • sponsored a foreign exchange student • donated $1,000 for a water well in India • took part in rotary exchange group from England • supported polio plus program & humanitarian activities worldwide
All club members are expected to serve on at least one club committee. These committees are the backbone of our club and are the quickest way to meet new friends.
